Aaron is a Legal and Compliance consultant who partners with executive management teams to execute business transformation and revenue growth strategies whilst managing corporate governance and legal and compliance standards on investment transactions within EMEA countries. Having qualified as a corporate finance and commercial solicitor at a large City law firm, he gained extensive experience in the financial services sector, working on the legal, compliance and regulatory aspects of a range of domestic and international corporate finance, private equity and capital markets transactions and disputes for two major investment banks. Aaron has since acted as General Counsel and Company Secretary for both private equity portfolio companies and publicly listed companies in the infrastructure and retail sectors, specialising in steering the company’s approach to commercial law and steering the Board of Directors and Audit & Risk Committees on compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, labour standards, anti-bribery, health and safety standards, ethical supply chain management, brand and marketing, internal audit, regulatory monitoring and environmental and sustainability standards in a number of international markets. To complement his corporate sector experience, he recently completed an MSc in Human Rights and International Law at the London School of Economics (LSE) with a particular focus on the intersection between human rights, social governance and cross-border business, trade and corporate finance investment in emerging markets.
